#Send to kindle for mac for mac
It seemed promising but I am unable to install the Send to Kindle for Mac software from Amazon nor is it os something similar available in the App Store that I can tell. I've tried to find posts from years past and located this one from Mark Barnes. You can pick and choose the devices the document will be sent to, and whether or not you want the document to be downloaded immediately, or archived. I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15.4 on a MacBook Pro. Once you have started the process of sending a document to your Kindle, you will be given some options.
Simply change the printer from your default printer to the Send to Kindle option. You are also able to print directly to your Kindle when printing a document. Send to Kindle, once installed on your Mac, will allow you to drag and drop any compatible file type to your dock and it will then be sent directly to your Kindle device(s) of choice. Send to Kindle system requirements include a Mac with a 500 MHz Intel processor or faster, at least 512MB of RAM, 100MB of available disk space, and Mac OS X v10.6 (Snow Leopard) or Mac OS X v10.7. Yesterday, Amazon released a Send to Kindle app for the Mac.
Its far easier than doing it on the Kindle itself which I have done once before. Im trying to make and sync my collections via my Kindle-for-Mac. In the past you have been able to e-mail a document directly to yourself, or if you had a Windows PC, you could use the Send to Kindle app. It sounds like the 'Import Collections' option is just what I need, but I cannot find it on my Kindle Paperwhite even when 'Cloud items' is selected. Previously, users would have to connect their Kindles to their computers or send the documents over email to a specific address but that was inelegant and cumbersome. One of the most underrated features of the Kindle product is the capability to send documents to your device for safe keeping and easy reading in the future. Send to Kindle for Mac is an app developed by Amazon to make sharing documents to all of your Kindle devices a drag and drop affair.
